Our Private Charter Dolphin watch begins with a cruise down the Island’s Tomkin Channel with an amazing view of the Island where we will see the beautiful waterfront homes, restaurants and entertainment district of South Padre Island. Captain and crew will then venture under the Causeway to the mouth of the Gulf of Mexico in search for local bottle nose dolphins.
Our success rate in finding dolphins is extremely high 90% as we have a high concentration of bottlenose dolphins that live in the surrounding warm waters year round.
Our vessel offers plenty of comfortable seating with an open air interior perfect for 360 degree viewing of the dolphins from anywhere on the boat. We also have a full hard-top canopy that provides shade for all of our customers.
On return, we will get a chance to grab one last picture and watch one of the famous sunsets over the Laguna Madre Bay. It’s the perfect way to end the day.
